Senior Sales Representative
Ideally, we’d like someone who has lab equipment experience
Laboratory Equipment will be responsible for achieving the sales goals of us and establishing the company as the leader in the R&D market for buyers and sellers of pre-owned laboratory instrumentation. The ideal candidate will be people and performance focused with the ability to manage, lead, develop, and motivate the existing and growing team. This position will report to the Director of Equipment Sales in the US while working with many cross-functional teams and departments around the globe.
Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expanding the R&D customer base
Hitting monthly gross profit targets
Having the R&D sales team achieve and surpass specific KPIs including; calls made, clients qualified, follow ups created, database growth, etc. Efficient territory planning and management. Prospecting through cold calling for both selling current inventory as well as securing new supply. Utilize the company's CRM by logging daily activity and completing necessary reports on a daily basis as required
Reinforcing the company’s vision, mission, culture and plans that are being executed
Liaising with marketing regarding trade shows and promotions & help identify key equipment for campaigns
5+ years in laboratory equipment sales, including selling and negotiation of agreements
Ideally would have contacts throughout the industry in various management levels in process development, cell line development and manufacturing
Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and slide presentations required. Proven project management experience preferred.
Self-motivated and flexible
Excellent planning, organizing and networking skills
Enthusiastic, highly driven, be able to cope under pressure and able to meet high sales targets.
Ability to effectively interface with all levels inside and outside the company, including senior management
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences or equivalent work experience. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills. Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
Strong industry, pharmaceutical and science background preferred
