Compensation Analyst

Duties: Description of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Market Data / Market Intelligence (40%)

Participate in competitive market studies, summarize findings and provide recommendations for enhancements Research market trends, establish solid external networks and based on market intelligence, suggest areas to continue focus on Employer of Choice initiatives Establish networking relationships with other compensation professionals to share insights, trends, etc.

Review job descriptions and recommend appropriate level, title, and market match. Create new job codes when necessary.

Audit job codes to ensure consistency

Take lead role in managing all annual salary survey input and trend questionnaires.

Ensure all SF systems/applications are updated with market data

Compensation Analysis and Programs (40%)

Active member of team to help design and implement annual compensation programs and analysis with the Salary Review Program, Bonus plans, and Equity plans.

Update monthly compensation files for Compensation and Recruiting.  Look for ways to improve data, analysis to support business Assist in developing compensation tools and processes to increase understanding of compensation strategies and programs to drive manager empowerment of compensation decisions.

Ongoing compensation research and analysis for Senior management, Compensation Committee, etc.

Be compensation point person for shared service model and respond to assigned/escalated queries in timely manner.

Ensure all compensation documents/policies are updated on portal to ensure positive manager/employee experience Assist with compensation training materials for managers.

Other Projects (20%)

May assist with global mobility queries regarding relocation, compensation proposals, etc.

Represent the Total Rewards team as needed on other projects May assist with benefits projects, research

Meet Our Team:

You will be a key team member of the Global Total Rewards team, gaining exposure to market data and salary surveys to understand the importance of market information and analytics to help recruit, motivate and retain employees.  You will help design compensation programs and procedures.  You will work on global projects and be a part of the global total rewards team.

Take lead in managing all salary survey input and trend questionnaires. Assist with annual market analysis.

Gather market data and provide analysis to assess the competitiveness of our current compensation packages.

Research and analyze market trends and best practices, report findings and provide recommendations for us relating to Compensation & Benefits Review job descriptions and recommend appropriate level, title, and market match.

Assist with annual compensation programs and analysis with the Salary Review Program, Bonus plans, and Equity plans.

Skills: Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience

5-7 years' experience in HR, specifically with Compensation experience Very strong Excel skills Strong attention to details and data accuracy Solid team player and able to balance many different projects and deliverable Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information Outstanding initiative with very good customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and project management skills
