Senior Manager of Inside Sales
This position is responsible for building and managing the Inside Sales and Service structure. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the inside sales force by: conducting team meetings and individual meetings, working with the brand leaders to align strategic imperative with sales imperatives, collaborating with the marketing team for Plans of Action (POAs), monitoring CRM reports and activities, and tracking commissions quarterly.
This individual will work closely with the Outside Sales Managers to assign territories, cross train all ISRs on both product lines, and help prepare necessary presentations and reports. They will also be responsible for overseeing the Customer Service Organization growth and development.
The Customer Service Manager will report directly to this individual. Lastly, this person will support the brand manager, marketing department and education department with events and activities related to the success of branded platforms.
Description of principal responsibilities:
- Build and Manage Inside Sales structure
a) Work closely with Outside Sales Managers and Brand Leaders to organize territories for 2019 and beyond
b) Develop training strategy to cross train all Inside Sales Reps on both brands. Continue training efforts throughout the year.
c) Conduct weekly meetings with sales team, bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with each ISR for status and sales updates
d) Source, hire and train new ISRs, use Customer Service for training grounds
e) Track sales commissions for all brands on quarterly basis
f) Maintain sales reporting for all product promotions, tradeshows, etc.
g) Work with brand manager and marketing department to develop and activate POAs consistent with strategic imperatives
h) Responsible for setting up campaigns in CRM and uploading leads
- Oversee Customer Service Dept Mgr.
a) Manage the Customer Service Manager. Have weekly one-on-one meetings
b) Offer continual coaching and guidance to CS Manager
c) Assist in sourcing and hiring new CSRs
d) Work together with CS Manager to cross train CSRs on both brands
e) Manage and oversee call reporting-CS Team Lead responsible for pulling reports
f) Handle escalations and customer issues as needed
- Maintain and Develop strong relationships with key strategic partners
Help Identify and attend relevant conferences, seminars and networking events
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university.
Experience: 7-10 years of sales experience in a related channel, with at least several years in a sales leadership role.
