Digital Marketing Manager

Location: Medway, Massachusetts

Connexion Systems and Engineering, your Boston staffing experts, would like to provide you with details about this new opportunity as we are seeking individuals with the following skills:

 

Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing our digital platforms, executing and measuring our integrated digital marketing programs, and driving conversions and revenue through our ecommerce and other digital channels. The person in this role has an eye for what will appeal to customers and uses an innovative approach to increase customer traffic, conversions, and revenue. The candidate will help grow our online presence through organic and paid channels, help develop online marketing strategies, and grow sales. The main job responsibility of this position is to organize the website, deploy content marketing initiatives, and carry out effective marketing strategies to increase leads and grow the company's revenue.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years related experience with and a solid understanding of online marketing, including digital marketing platforms, website content management, ecommerce, promotional campaigns, email marketing, PPC, SEO & SEM
  • Working knowledge of web development and digital marketing principles, best practices, and content management platforms (EpiServer preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience applying SEM and SEO concepts
  • Knowledge about and experience with online campaign management
  • Track record of supporting successful demand generation programs from campaign concept to reporting and analysis
  • Specific experience using these marketing automation (HubSpot preferred) features effectively: smart lists, smart campaigns, workflow steps, workflow triggers, email and landing pages editors, forms, template library, asset library, list segmentations, and data management
  • Strong analytical skills and ROI driven; including experience reviewing campaign performance results and making recommendations for future action
  • Knowledge of media editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of and experience working with HTML
  • B2B Marketing Experience
  • Experience in the field of life sciences, medical devices, or biotechnology industries preferred
  • Must be highly effective collaborating across internal teams (such as product managers and other key stakeholders) as well as with external agencies and vendors 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute and drive the online marketing strategy
  • Manage company website and digital channels (including images, tools, and content)
  • Manage and oversee the organization's eCommerce and merchandising marketing efforts with the goal of driving conversions and revenue
  • Campaign Execution: Manage each element of content campaigns which includes: content development, strategy, implementation, testing, metrics reporting
  • Analysis: Use data to suggest improvements. Conduct A/B testing on campaigns to increase optimization and conversion rates
  • Self-Development: Learn new skills based on emerging marketing trends, technology, lead generation concepts, and other skills necessary to improve each campaign's KPI. Maintain working knowledge of best practices in marketing
  • Maintain high level of knowledge and skill with commerce and content management system (EpiServer), marketing automation software (HubSpot), and computer software related to these functions
  • Manage and execute our organic and paid online marketing, with a focus on paid Adwords and LinkedIn advertising.
  • SEM: Working with our agency, manage SEM campaigns and identify opportunities to improve ROI (inclusive of testing landing pages and new formats)
  • Optimize keywords and ad copy
  • Oversee the relationship with outside digital agency vendors to ensure optimal service and results
  • Develop eye catching, on-brand content for ads, including selecting content, images, or videos and writing ad titles, developing offers, and optimizing landing pages that fit our integrated campaigns
  • Create KPI reports and site analytics as defined by Director, or as necessary, on performance in each key area of responsibility. Based on findings, continually optimize advertising and promotions spend. Share performance and results
  • Strategize internally and as needed with our agency partners on optimizing “always on” programing across platforms such as in key channels like paid search/display and paid social, including program tracking and optimization, and site audits to help ensure that campaign changes are made accurately
  • Travel to sales events and off-site meetings as required
  • Extended work hours may be necessary in order to meet business demands
