We have an exciting opportunity for a Professional Services Networking Architect to join our team (location is negotiable for right applicant). As a Professional Services Architect your primary responsibility is to provide design, consulting, implementation and presenting of existing and new services to the company’s customers and prospects. This position will partner with members of the designated sales and solution teams as well as operate with a high degree of independence. Successful applicant must be free to travel up to 75%.
Provide technical leadership for networking focused Consulting Services projects.
Convey technical information/solutions to audience using whiteboards, presentations or written communications in a workshop format.
Responsibilities include executive and technical-level communications and relationship building to gain credibility/trust of internal and external customers.
Consult, assess or audit, design and interview customers to determine highly technical requirements.
Convert requirements into actionable statement of work.
Assist in proof of concept testing.
Provide knowledge transfer to the customer or prospect during professional services engagements.
Perform analysis of the networking problems as well as provide highest-level crisis management.
Ensure familiarity with customer network planning, implementation and support processes and procedures.
Be the customer’s technical liaison for our internal product support, development and engineering teams.
Facilitate design reviews for proposed Statements of Work.
Provide recommendations on viability, implementation strategies and optimal implementation of our Professional Services solutions.
Demonstrate expert level knowledge of network topologies and conditions. Ensure changes to network topologies are made with minimal down-time.
Engineer, configure and lead the design, configuration and deployment of networking solutions, LAN/WAN, Cisco, Juniper or Arista routers, switches, and other network infrastructure devices.
Deliver to current client requirements and generate additional consulting work by understanding the client's need and showing them the justification for new technologies that fit their business.
Provide regular status reports on assigned tasks, current issues and progress toward stated goals.
Apply business development skills to identify potential sales leads and opportunities and communicate discovered opportunities to the Professional Services sales team.
Expert level understanding and implementation of BGP protocol is a must Research, evaluate and stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.
Must be skilled in presenting complex technologies to mixed audiences.
10+ years of proven experience in the functional technical domains of Network, Data Center, enterprise IT systems. Ideal candidate will have a background in pre-sales designing/consulting, designing network architectures, the discipline of Enterprise Architecture and enterprise resource planning.
10+ years of experience in LAN/WAN network administration and engineering.
Expert-level experience in relevant fields of network engineering/implementation.
Excellent technical skills on enterprise and or service provider networks.
Collaborative presentation creation skills and presentation delivery skills are a must Competitive equipment knowledge and experience with a network service provider, large enterprise, or third-Party Network Consulting Services Company or other relevant industry.
Expert-level hands-on operation of networking equipment, management tools and network analyzers.
Implementation and administration background with some combination of the following equipment providers, Cisco, Juniper or Arista Networks Prior experience with SDN or NFV a plus Experience working as a consultant is a significant plus.
Certifications highly regarded
Cisco CCNP or Juniper JNCP certification or equivalent level of experience CCIE Route Switch preferred.
Employee will exhibit confidence and influence when presenting verbal and written proposals to prospects, structuring consulting agreements, and be comfortable developing SOWs and related consulting deliverables.
Employee will be comfortable speaking at conferences, acting as an authority in his field, and prospecting from industry events.

10+ years of relevant experience in Networking, architecture, and client solutioning.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales background required.
